Why is it good to eat carrots? Not only because of the taste.The other,and main reason, is that carrots contain Vitamin A.
What is so special about this vitamin? Well, not only it helps you to see better,by improving your eye health (this vitamin helps your eyes to better adjust to light changes), it has a very positive influence on your skin health by helping it stay moist. It also promotes normal development of teeth. One other benefit of Vitamin A is that it fights and neutralizes harmful free radicals in the body.Vitamin A is stored in the liver, which gives you a benefit of not having to take much of it each and every day.Suggested daily intake of Vitamin A is 800 micrograms for women and 1000 micrograms for men.
Last but not least: Vitamin A can be also found in sweet potatoes, eggs, meat and cantaloupe.
